Terms of service, in plain language.
Effective October 17, 2026. DoorWorthy is a project of Lonesome Peak Holdings, Inc. These terms apply whenever you use doorworthy.app, the free tools, an account, or a paid report or membership. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.
What DoorWorthy is
DoorWorthy is a research tool. It gathers public records about a place (who lives and works nearby, the businesses already there, the traffic out front, rents, zoning and typical costs for a type of business) and puts them next to the figures you give it. It is not legal, financial, tax or real estate advice, and no page, report or ranking is a promise that a location, lease or business will succeed. Every number shows its source and year; many sources are updated yearly, and conditions on the ground change faster than that. Walk the block, read the lease and talk to your advisors before you commit money.
Your account
You need an account to save locations, run reports or use the member tools. Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You must be at least 18 and using DoorWorthy for a business, your own or one you advise. Give us accurate information for your business profile; the research is only as good as the brief.
Free tools
The free location check, ZIP check, count pages, profitability pages, how-to pages and calculators need no account. They are limited by volume per visitor and show a summary; some figures and the ranked detail are kept for members. Automated use, scraping or bulk collection of any page is not allowed.
Paid plans
One report, $79. A report credit unlocks a full report for one saved location. Rerunning that location later is free. The credit does not expire while your account is open, and it is not transferable to another account. A report for a different address needs another credit or a membership.
Membership, $199 a month, unlimited reports. Membership is billed monthly in advance to the card on file and renews each month until you cancel. While it is active you can run reports for every location you save, open the member detail on the free tools, and use the opening plan. Cancel any time from Account, Billing; access continues to the end of the month you have paid for and no further charge is made.
Prices are in US dollars and include any sales tax Stripe calculates for your address. We may change prices for future purchases; a change to the membership price is announced by email at least 30 days before it applies to you. Stripe processes every payment, and DoorWorthy never sees your card number.
Refunds
- A report that fails. If a report does not generate, or generates with a section missing because of a fault on our side, you get the credit back automatically, or a full refund if you ask.
- An unused report credit. If you bought a report credit and have not used it, ask within 14 days of purchase and we refund it in full.
- A generated report. Once a report has been generated for your location, the purchase is final: the research has been performed and delivered to your account. If you believe the report is wrong, write to us; we will look into the sources and correct what we can.
- Membership. If you cancel within 7 days of your first charge and have not generated a report, ask and we refund that first month in full. After that, cancellation stops future charges but months already billed are not refunded, in whole or in part.
- How to ask. Reply to any email from DoorWorthy or use the contact details on your receipt, from the account that made the purchase. Refunds go back to the original card, usually within 5 to 10 business days of approval.
Your material
Briefs, notes, assumptions, listing flyers and links you add stay yours. You give DoorWorthy permission to store and process them to produce your research, and you confirm you have the right to share them. Do not upload material you are not authorized to share, and remove unrelated personal, financial or identity documents first.
Reports and member pages
A report is for the business and location it was run for. You may share it with partners, lenders, landlords and advisors involved in that decision, and print or save it. You may not resell reports, republish member pages, or use any part of DoorWorthy to build a competing data product. Sample reports on the website are fictional and labeled as such.
Data and third parties
The research draws on the U.S. Census Bureau, state and federal agencies, OpenStreetMap, Mapbox, Geoapify and other providers named on each page, each under its own terms. How we handle your information is set out in the privacy notice, which is part of these terms.
What we do not promise
DoorWorthy is provided as it is. We work to keep the sources current and the service available, but we do not guarantee that any figure is complete or error free, that a page will be available at a given moment, or that a location will perform in any particular way. To the extent the law allows, Lonesome Peak Holdings, Inc. is not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities or indirect losses from using the service, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid DoorWorthy in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Closing an account
You can stop using DoorWorthy at any time; cancel any membership first so it does not renew. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for scraping or abuse, or whose payments fail, and we may stop offering the service with 30 days’ notice. If we close your account for a reason other than a breach, we refund any unused report credit.
Changes and the law
We will update these terms as the service develops and post the new date at the top; material changes to paid plans are emailed to members first. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute is heard in the state or federal courts for Dallas County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you a right to something else.
