Who needs a brewpub or manufacturer’s (small craft brewery) permit in Mississippi?

Issued by Mississippi Department of Revenue, at step 5 of 6 in the opening sequence: alcohol permits.

1 of the 20 kinds of business in Mississippi

A brewpub brews up to 75,000 gallons a year for sale on its own premises; a small craft brewery holds the manufacturer’s permit and sells its beer by the glass and to go in its taproom within the limits the Code sets, and may hold an on-premises retailer’s permit for liquor where the county allows it. The federal TTB brewer’s notice comes first, and the city must approve the premises.
