Who needs a certificate of organization (LLC), newspaper notice and the biennial report in Nebraska?

Issued by Nebraska Secretary of State, Business Services Division, at step 1 of 6 in the opening sequence: set up the business.

Every kind of business in Nebraska

The Nebraska table lists this for every kind of business.

File online through the Secretary of State’s eDelivery system; the certificate names a registered agent with a Nebraska street address. Nebraska then requires a notice of organization published for three successive weeks in a legal newspaper near the designated office, with proof of publication filed with the Secretary of State. An LLC that misses the biennial report is dissolved by operation of law in mid-June of that year.
