Who needs a microbrewery permit and manufacturer’s license in Wyoming?

Issued by Your city or town council, or the county commissioners (microbrewery permit); Wyoming Liquor Division (manufacturer’s license), at step 5 of 6 in the opening sequence: alcohol permits.

1 of the 20 kinds of business in Wyoming

A microbrewery makes between 50 and 50,000 barrels a year at one location and may sell its own beer at the brewery, including to go in packages of up to 2,000 ounces per sale, and may hold a retail or restaurant liquor license alongside the permit. The federal TTB brewer’s notice and basic permit come first and go in with the state application; the Division inspects the premises and takes monthly production reports.
